Ya girl is about to be a Texan🤠 If you’ve been fo Ya girl is about to be a Texan🤠 If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that I’m a Florida girl through and through. I was born and raised here and never had any plans to leave. But I was recently offered an opportunity I could not pass up. I’ve officially accepted a position as an Assistant Acquisitions Editor for @thedailygraceco ! I’ve been a follower and customer of TDGC for years, and I’ve even written a few magazine articles for them in the past. I’ve wanted to work there for a long time, but it’s just never worked out…until now! So, I’m moving to Texas to work at their headquarters at the end of this month! It’s a big, kinda scary decision, but I’m also really excited for this change and so thankful for how the Lord is working in my life. This is a BIG transition, so I’d really appreciate all your prayers! If you have any recs for the Woodlands area (bookstores, coffee shops, you name it), please let me know in the comments. And you can help me clean out my bookshelves a little (and give me book shopping money for after I move) by shopping my PangoBooks shelf!

I MET PIERCE BROWN LAST NIGHT💫💫💫 Y’all know what I MET PIERCE BROWN LAST NIGHT💫💫💫 Y’all know what a big fan I am of the Red Rising series (I’m literally recommending it all the time). So when I saw he’d be doing an event in Colorado the same week I was going to be there, I knew I had to go. The only problem? They were sold out of tickets. I got on their waitlist, and after not hearing anything, I decided to just show up at the event and see what happened. And guess what? THEY LET ME IN. So yes, I got to meet @piercebrownofficial and hear him talk about his writing and get my RR book signed. Even though we still don’t have any hint at a release date for Red God (🙃), it was such a fun and exciting night, and I’m so glad I took the chance and went. Have you started reading Red Rising yet?? (If not, you’ve got to add it to your TBR!)💫
what does a book girl do when she travels? she fi what does a book girl do when she travels? she finds an author event to go to🤭 This week, my mom had to go on a work trip, so I decided to tag along and work remotely from Colorado. And after I made that decision, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that @hannahnicolemae , author of the Assistant to the Villain series, would be in Colorado, too! Last night, I went to an event celebrating her newest release, Adversary to the Villain, at the @tatteredcoverbookstore , and it was so much fun. Hannah is HILARIOUS, and I laughed so much as she talked about her books and her writing. I am so excited to finally start this book! Have you started reading the ATTV series yet??🐸
