I LOVE a good duology! They let me invest more time with the characters without requiring a super long reading commitment. Fantasy duologies are some of my favorite books ever, and these are my top recs! They were all 4-5 star reads for me, and they’re all pretty low spice.*

Which fantasy duology is your favorite? Which duology are you adding to your TBR?✨

*The Rose Bargain does have one short open door scene, but its sequel, The Thorn Queen, does not have any explicit spice.

I am so excited because I recently found one of my unicorn books on @pangobooks ! Y’all know I love collecting special editions, and I’ve been dying to find a couple special editions of my all time favorite book, Divine Rivals. They’re pretty rare and usually go for a lot of money, but I was able to get a really good deal on this @owlcrate edition! It is so pretty, plus it has a bonus chapter from Roman’s POV. I absolutely love it and now I have a matching Owlcrate set of this duology! Now, if only I could find the Fairyloot edition…🤔

let’s kiss and tell book tour💋 I went to another let’s kiss and tell book tour💋

I went to another book tour event with @thenewromanticsbooks last night, and it was for @joss.richard ‘s new book, Let’s Kiss and Tell! I read her debut, It’s Different This Time, last year and really liked it. @authorgracereilly and @julieoliviaauthor were also there, and I got Julie to sign my copy of her upcoming release, Love Felt Like This, and found out it was the first copy of the book she’d signed!

Something fun about Let’s Kiss and Tell is that it’s inspired by the romcom movie, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, one of my FAVORITE romcoms. Tell me your favorite romcom movie in the comments!🎥
If you hate any of these books, I’m sorry, you’re If you hate any of these books, I’m sorry, you’re just wrong🤷🏼‍♀️

But if your taste in books matches mine, you should give me a follow and tell me about your favorite books in the comments!😉
Today is the last day of my very first cruise, and Today is the last day of my very first cruise, and I’ve had a blast! I visited three countries - Mexico, Belize, and Honduras. I painted an alebrije, visited Mayan ruins, saw a bunch of animals, laid in the sun, and ate a bunch of food. I also read a lot - two full books and I should finish a third book today!

I really have had a great time on this cruise, and I can’t wait to go on my next one! Where should I cruise to next?🛳️
cruise reading updatesss🌊 Y’all know I can’t take cruise reading updatesss🌊

Y’all know I can’t take a vacation without bringing books with me to read. Here’s what I’ve been reading on my cruise and my thoughts on them so far:

🛟What We Did to Survive by Megan Lally: 100% - Finished this a couple days ago and it was thrilling!

🛳️Love on Deck by Kasey Stockton: 58% - It’s so fun to read a romance that takes place on a cruise ship when I’m also on a cruise ship!

🗡️The Ever King by L.J. Andrews: 21% - I still have a long way to go but I’m super intrigued by this world and these characters!

🏄‍♀️Summer People by Sally Blakely: 76% - I technically started this audiobook before the cruise, and I haven’t had a lot of time to listen to it, but it’s pretty good!

Let me know how far you are in your current read in the comments!
